The & imagine Theory of Imagination is a living document, and an expression of literary kinship and lineage. It will continue to evolve as & imagine engages more people and texts, but the general assertion remains clear: the imagination is central to our humanity, and we can choose to engage it or ignore it.
The choices we make about our imaginations can extend far beyond ourselves, and either reinforce harmful narratives or transform them.
